Urbex Fashion and Lighting Workshop with Simon Carter

Against the backdrop of the derelict asylum chapel, join myself and Simon Carter for a fun creative lighting workshop on Monday 12th August 2024.

Simon is well known for his quirky angles, creativity and technical knowledge of lighting. The lighting he will be setting up for this event will create depth, texture, atmosphere and drama in your images. At the start of the session he will explain the setups and answer questions but you'll also have lots of time to shoot, it’s not just a teaching session. You'll take away some creative lighting tips and learn some new tricks, all whilst updating your portfolio with some fresh shots.

Our models are Saida, Sin Yu and Pippa, all famed for their strong posing meaning you will get some high energy, high fashion shots for your portfolio. You will be working in a small group of 4 photographers during the session and shooting is strictly 121. There are two sessions, morning or afternoon and there are 12 spaces in total for each session (3 groups of 4).

Session 1 - 11am-2pm
Session 2 - 2.30pm-5.30pm

Our styling

Our styling will be fun, creative couture fashion. Expect bold patterns, big shapes, huge metallic wings and lots of colour!

Our location

Our location is a derelict chapel with many beautifully textured interiors within. Located near Queens Road, Peckham station. 

 

Our models

Our models are the amazing Saida, Sin-Yu and Pippa, three posing powerhouses who will guarantee you great results!
