Dystopian Abandoned Junkyard Shoot 6 Models Preston 16th May 2026
A brand new theme for 2026! Join us in this derelict wasteland where we will encounter six creatures facing an uncertain, dystopian future. We have six amazing models and a set designer joining us. With some very special themes and styling, you are guaranteed to walk away with some amazing images. This is a full day event and you will work in groups of three photographers to one model.

There are just 18 spaces available on this event. I’ve deliberately kept group sizes small to ensure a relaxed shoot where everyone has the same opportunity to shoot on a 121 basis with our fabulous models.
Our Venue
Our venue has two parts on the day, an incredible rustic car yard and an abandoned post apocalyptic 'camp'. Over both sites there are variety of backdrops, retro vehicles and different spaces and will really suit our theme! The camp location will have two set builds from the amazing Amanda Caroline Couture. You will spend half the session (10-1) at one location and then swap over lunchtime to work at the other location in the afternoon (2-5). There will be three models at each location and the locations are 2 mins drive/5 mins walk apart.

Meet Our Characters
The cunning spider demon guards secrets within discarded scraps and feeds on forgotten sorrows. She gained her demonic power by feeding on the resentment and grief of the once loved items abandoned at the junkyard.
The Scavenger Queen is a solitary wanderer of the junkyard, collecting discarded trinkets and forgotten machines. Draped in once beautiful robes, she embodies faded grandeur. Quiet and perceptive, she finds deep meaning in what’s abandoned and lost.
The Tatty Fairy lives hidden among abandoned cars, her wings torn and patched. She scavenges shiny debris to decorate her nest. Mischievous yet kind-hearted, she helps fix tiny broken things, whispering hope into forgotten objects before again vanishing into the shadows.
The Grimefather is an ancient, hulking man, full of filth and decay, dwelling beneath the junkyard in tunnels of sludge and rust. Slow-moving but deeply wise, he wanders the yard and collects pieces of old abandoned cars.
The Seeker wanders the junkyard, cloaked in ragged clothes and clutching a large, ornate key. Haunted yet determined, they search for a hidden portal to return to the normality of the past.
The Dystopian Clown haunts a broken, abandoned carousel in smeared face paint and torn carnival rags. Beneath their cracked smile lingers sorrow, a faint memory of laughter in a hideous world that forgot how to.

Will there be lighting?
The sets will be lit and elsewhere there will be lighting available to use where needed - it will be a mixture of flash and LED. Please note this is not a taught session but you will be shown how to use the lighting if requested.What if it rains?
There are sufficient indoor spaces so this event will go ahead in the case of rain.The cost? An astonishingly good value £275 per person for the day which includes all location fees, model fees and costuming.
£75 pp deposit to secure your space, with the final balance payable 28 days before event. .
