Gosford House Stately Home Ballet Shoot 4 Dancers Scotland 22nd September 2026

Join us for this amazing photography workshop at this incredible unique location near Edinburgh, Scotland. No expense has been spared with our venue and our beautiful selection of tutus - picked to suit the many incredible backdrops on offer to shoot!

Our location itself is one of the most stunning venues in the UK - and has a selection of incredible spaces including a huge marble hall and galleries, and more traditional stately home rooms  - a Saloon, dining room, Octagonal room and a snug, all just jaw dropping wherever you turn! So much inspiration for everyone lucky enough to secure a space on this brilliant day. I have been desperate to hire this amazing place since I first saw it, and I must admit it wowed me - so it will wow you too! Have a look at the photos below to see for yourself.

We have FOUR amazing dancers who will be joining us on the day, who are highly experienced and will make sure you get some amazing images for your portfolios and competitions.

There will be a combination of lighting set up for you where needed, and a lighting technician, or you can use natural light plus reflectors  meaning you don't need to worry about anything but taking amazing pictures.

There are 16 spaces on this event. I’ve deliberately kept group sizes small to ensure a relaxed shoot where everyone has the same opportunity to shoot and work with our models. You will be working in groups of 4 with timed 121 time, working with one dancer on rotation before moving on to the next.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, this is a unique opportunity to network, refine your skills and capture some stunning images.

Our Dancers

This is our spectacular lineup of dancers for the day:

All of these ladies are experienced dancers who have been hand picked by myself.

Our Location

Our location is Gosford House, the seat of the Earls of Wemyss and March and still a family home! Gosford was one of the last great architectural commissions of the celebrated Scots architect, Robert Adam. The marble hall is the jewel in its crown and not something I've ever seen before!

You will spend the morning shooting in the more traditional stately home rooms before moving onto the stairs and in the gallery of the marble hall after lunch. We will end the day shooting all four dancers together on the incredible marble stairs - what will prove to be an iconic shot for your portfolios!

Ballet not your thing? I am also running a beautiful gowns shoot at this location on the same date. The other event will be using the marble hall in the morning before swapping at lunch, so they will not interfere with each other. You can find details of that one here.

Our Mood Board

You will shoot four tutus over the course of the day, each handpicked to suit the location. Here's our moodboard for the day:
