Mannakin City of Lost Souls Dystopian Shoot 5 Models Lincolnshire 23rd May 2027
A brand new location for 2027! Join us in this derelict, mannequin filled wasteland - the 'City of Lost Souls' where we will encounter five creatures facing an uncertain, dystopian future. We have five amazing models joining us. With some very special themes and styling, you are guaranteed to walk away with some amazing images. This is a full day event and you will work in groups of four photographers to one model.
Date: Sunday 23rd May 2027
Time: 11-5
Group size: 4
Location: Near Grantham, Lincolnshire
Cost: £295 per person
There are just 20 spaces available on this event. I’ve deliberately kept group sizes small to ensure a relaxed shoot where everyone has the same opportunity to shoot on a 121 basis with our fabulous models.
Our Venue
Our venue is completely unique! Filled with old mannequins, body parts and other quirky backdrops. Inside has textured walls, racks of mannequins and other features. We will be working inside and outside during the day. If it rains all our models will be based inside, moving outside when the showers cease. Look at our venue images below.
Meet Our Characters
She was once an engineer responsible for maintaining the city’s luxury androids before the collapse. When the power grids failed, she stayed behind in the mannequin district, salvaging circuitry and wiring from synthetic bodies to keep herself alive. Over the years she began replacing parts of her own body with machine fragments, becoming something neither human nor machine. She moves through the junkyard wrapped in shredded black fabrics, exposed wiring, tarnished silver plating, and glowing mechanical relics - a beautiful ghost of obsolete technology.
Nobody remembers her real name. In the ruins of the City of Lost Souls, she became known only as The Bone Collector - a ghostly figure wandering endlessly through the mannequin graveyard flooded with ash and dust. Survivors whisper that she appears after storms, moving from broken figure to broken figure with lantern light flickering across cracked porcelain faces.
She barely speaks and is rumored to have lived alone in the mannequin warehouse since childhood. Covered in cracked white body paint and translucent fabrics, she moves silently through the piles like a spirit haunting the remains of consumer civilization. Survivors claim the mannequins turn toward her when she passes.
Once a museum manager before society collapsed, she now wanders the mannequin graveyards collecting broken limbs and porcelain heads, rebuilding them into eerie “families” to keep herself company. The Curator believes every mannequin holds fragments of the souls lost during the fall of the city. Her couture-inspired armour is stitched from old drapery, leather belts, and melted sequins scavenged from abandoned department stores.
