Join us for this extraordinary photography workshop at the iconic Thirsk Hall, in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The house was designed in the 1770s by architect John Carr of York. He added two wings and a further floor to the existing Queen Anne House. Carr's main commission was the dining room which still has its original plasterwork and commissioned furniture.Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, this is a unique opportunity to refine your skills, capture stunning images, and be inspired by the timeless beauty of this magnificent location.
Workshop Highlights

All of these ladies are experienced and professional models who have been hand picked by myself to suit the location, themes and gowns of the day. Our fourth female model is to be confirmed.
Our Location
Our location offers many different spaces in which to shoot, including many original antique furniture pieces. Please ignore the sculptures and personal items in some of the photos, these will be moved elsewhere for our photoshoot.

Our Styling
Each model will be wearing a different gown, handpicked to suit the space. Here's some of our gown inspiration for the day:
On the day
I’ve deliberately kept group sizes small to ensure a relaxed shoot where everyone has the same opportunity to shoot and work with our models. You will be working in groups of 4 and you will rotate regularly to work with a model with a break for lunchWe have professional lighting equipment on site so you do not need to worry about bringing lights. There will also be ample opportunity to use the abundant natural light within the house. Whether you're a strobe fan or a natural light shooter, your needs will be accomodated and all you need to worry about is taking amazing images
