The Chapel of the Damned Horror Shoot Malvern 4th July 2026

This shoot is not for the faint hearted.....

Join me on 4th July 2025 with a cast of five character actors/models as we journey inside 'The Chapel of the Damned'....

Our venue is an abandoned nunnery...steeped in history and rumour has it, it is inhabited by a few ghosts! Once holy, these halls now echo with whispers of penance, horror, and despair. From the haunted monk who prays to voices that never answer, to the young girl, lost for eternity within the corridors, each soul lingers in eternal unrest. The corridors are empty, yet our congregation of horror characters still gather beneath shattered stained glass. We will have a talented SFX makeup artist on board to assist with creating our five horror themed looks.

There are 20 spaces on this event. I’ve deliberately kept group sizes small to ensure a relaxed shoot where everyone has the same opportunity to shoot and work with our models. You will be working in groups of 4 with timed 121 time, working with one character on rotation before moving on to the next.

The cost? An astonishingly good value £285 per person for a session full of amazing horror costuming, fabulous modelling and a few laughs guaranteed. £75 pp deposit to secure your space, with the final balance payable 28 days before event.

Our Characters

These are the horror characters that will be joining us for the day....join us too....if you dare!

After famine and sickness took the others in the order one by one, the pews that once held a vibrant throng of spiritual brothers fell silent. Brother Malachai spent his final days alone, the last monk in a hollow sanctuary, clinging to scripture as the walls crumbled around him. His ghost now stalks the halls, Bible clutched tight, rosary rattling in his hands, forever searching for the light.

Carved in reverence, now cursed in silence. By day it stands broken, rigid, but in the stillness of night its eyes bleed dark tears, and its lips move in fractured devotion. The prayers it whispers flow backward, twisting sacred words into something hollow, filling the chapel with a dread that feels almost divine.

A disfigured figure wrapped in chains and barbed wire, dragging a heavy iron cross across the chapel floor. Once a man seeking absolution, now a twisted shadow of devotion. He does not speak, only groans beneath the weight of his burden, a punishment without end, a penance that will never be forgiven.

After perishing in a fire in the chapel house, Evangeline is a haunting female ghost with hollow eyes and a tattered nightgown. She has long, fiery red hair flowing wildly, contrasting against her pale, ash-stained face and the decaying chapel. Some say if you hear the floorboards creak behind you, it’s her, reaching out to claim another soul for her crumbling sanctuary.

They called him the Caretaker. For decades, he tended the chapel, sweeping its floors, polishing its pews, and guarding its silence with iron devotion. But when the congregation dwindled and the doors were locked forever, he refused to leave. They say he still roams the rotting chapel, chains dragging across the stone, eyes burning through the dark. Step inside after sundown, and you’ll hear him first, the rattle of rusted iron as he comes to ensure no one ever disturbs his holy ground again.
